Universe membership and pattern detection are different
Selecting the Nasdaq 100 scope limits the symbols considered by the scanner. It does not mean that every member has a current pattern, and an empty result set does not mean that the index itself lacks a trend. Aventra's active universe and membership records determine which canonical symbols can enter the scan.
Membership and available market data can change. Review the scope selected in Market Radar and the symbol shown on the result before comparing candidates. An exchange directory contains listings; an index universe contains the selected membership. They serve different research purposes and should not be treated as equivalent lists.
Read a candidate in its chart context
Start with the detected pattern or setup, its timeframe and scan date. Then open the symbol to inspect the relevant chart structure and its annual and quarterly financial context. A quality score describes the scanner's conditions; it is not a return forecast or a substitute for reviewing the underlying chart.
Relative strength, liquidity and participation provide additional context for comparing results. Keep the benchmark and timeframe consistent. A candidate can become stale when price leaves its structure or invalidates the recorded condition, so the observation date matters alongside the pattern name.
